Recommended trap:
In Brazil traps are assembled from 2-l transparent plastic soft drink bottles with four holes at the top of the bottle, each with an iron funnel to permit the entrance of the insects and the dispersion of the pheromone plume. The pheromone lures were hung at the level of the entrance openings, in the interior of the trap, with an iron rod.
